This is the personal blog of David Woods. It is a place where I can record my occasional thoughts about operations research, analytics, the web, or anything else I feel like writing about.
By day I work for Empiric Consulting as an analytics consultant in Wellington, New Zealand. Currently I’m enjoying working at Kiwibank. By night I’m working on a few other projects. I mainly use SAS for work-type stuff, and most other stuff I used to do in Java, but I’ve recently switched to Clojure and I’m never looking back. I’ve also played with iOS and have made a few apps.
